Go green in a strikingly simple dress like Nicola's

Thanks to her love of quirky designers and retro styles, Nicola Roberts has come a long way since the early days of Girls Aloud.

On the red carpet of the third annual Gabrielle's Gala in London, she shunned embellishments, jewels and anything potentially OTT is this effortlessly simple cami maxi dress. And we have to say, as much as we enjoyed the costume and the drama of the Met Ball on Monday it's good to see someone taking things back to basics.
We love the olive hue of this dress, which perfectly complements Nicola's porcelain skin and fiery red hair. And the great thing about a dress like this is that it can be dressed up or down. How oh so boho would this look with an arm full of bangles and a floppy fedora hat?
Props to Nicola for going vintage, but unfortunately, that does mean that this dress isn't available to buy. Luckily, we have rounded up the best green dresses on the virtual high street, starting from just £16 at Dorothy Perkins.
