Have we died and gone to fashion heaven?! Jennifer Lawrence looks so good in this Christian Dior look that we are close to tears – and we’re not even joking.
The actress chose a simply stunning look from the brand’s spring/summer 2014 couture collection, the fourth by creative director Raf Simons. The designer has said that he wants to modernise couture, and in this collection he did it flawlessly. He used the traditional couture techniques to make modern pieces and silhouettes – like this crop top and flared skirt combo – and even threw some trainers into the mix.
Alas, we won't be able to get our hands on Jennifer’s outfit – couture pieces are never duplicated and we’re not rich enough to buy it, or BFFs with Raf Simons. However, if you’re going to try one new trend this summer, a matching crop top and skirt should be it. Breaking a colour or print up with a flash of the abs is subtly sexy and a great alternative to a dress if you want to go for something different and daring.
